The Rescue Challenge is a two person timed event. The scenario for this year's challenge involved multiple rescue skills including: rigging of multiple anchor points with a picket system, moving the Rescue Randy thru a 30 inch pipe, 2 person carry with a Rescue Randy, lashing the Rescue Randy into a stokes basket, and finally moving the basket with a 3:1 MA system.
There were 17 teams in the event representing: Gates County Rescue, Winston-Salem Rescue, Troutman Fire & Rescue, Claremont Rescue, Hickory Rescue, Gastonia Fire Department, Alexander Rescue, and Sherrill's Ford Rescue. |
